A Bit About Me

Since I was little I have always had a fascination with music. During the daily trips to school, I remember asking my Mum what various songs meant. I vividly recall asking about MIKA’s song “Grace Kelly” as well as a number of others by Take That and Sting in addition to coming up with music based off of video game music.
As I grew up, I started to develop an interest in poetry and was selected by the current Poet laureate to perform in the Malaysian Poetry Nationals. I realised that I could write lyrics and picked up the guitar at around 13.
From there on, I developed and observed multiple styles and concepts.
More recently, I attended a music organisation based in Bristol, England where I furthered my skills and volunteered to be a part of the Bristol Youth music board, known as the ‘Making Tracks Board’
It sounds weird, but I feel as though music is more than sound and meaning. To me, it represented myself as a person as well as (as cliched as it sounds) the endless melodic and lyrical ideas that could come into play.
